Our Team

Michael H. Patterson, serves as the sole Managing Partner of Patterson Equity Partners.  Mr. Patterson also maintains a real estate law practice in Arlington, Texas (Peirson Patterson, LLP). Within his practice, Mr. Patterson has over 25 years of experience representing various lenders, real estate developers, contractors and title companies in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.  Mr. Patterson has nearly 20 years of experience with various civic organizations and has served as a Trustee for the Arlington Independent School District and a Commissioner for the Arlington Planning and Zoning Commission. Mr. Patterson holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Southern Methodist University and a law degree from the University of Texas at Austin.

Jarod Cox, serves as a Director of Patterson Equity Partners.  Mr. Cox began his career as an auditor for KPMG LLP in Dallas and Fort Worth serving on audits of public and private companies.  In 2006 he joined the office of a State Senator in Fort Worth and served there until 2009. He has expertise in legislative analysis, public relations, accounting/audit and real estate investments.  Mr. Cox currently serves on the Board of Trustees – Fort Worth Employee’s Retirement Fund. Mr. Cox holds a Masters of Accountancy and a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from Abilene Christian University. 

Tyler Patterson, serves as a Director of Patterson Equity Partners.  Mr. Patterson served as a credit analyst for Jefferson Bank and worked in the commercial real estate business for three years while he pursued his Business Administration degree in Entrepreneurial Management from Texas Christian University.  He is currently in the process of receiving his Masters of Science in Real Estate at the University of Texas in Arlington and will graduate in May of 2012.
